Principal
Scott A. Moskowitz
Inventor, author, and digital-watermarking pioneer. Founder of Blue Spike, Inc. and Wistaria Trading Inc. Today, Scott advises entrepreneurs, executives, and multi-generational families on retirement, life insurance, and estate strategy through Wistaria Advisors.
Biography
A career built at the seam of technology, IP, and finance.
Scott Moskowitz began his career in the early 1990s in Tokyo, where he founded a trading company consulting on and exporting American consumer products to Japan, and served as Sony Japan's first undergraduate intern in the Monitor Group — designing initial U.S. market-entry strategy for High Definition Television. In 1992 he entered the entertainment industry doing agency work for one of the largest U.S. wholesalers of music-related products.
He went on to pioneer secure digital watermarking, founding The Dice Company and later Blue Spike, Inc. He is a named inventor on dozens of U.S. and international patents covering steganographic method and device, digital-watermark optimization, secure personal content servers, bandwidth securitization / packet watermarking, and data protection.
Today, that same discipline — protecting what is valuable, quietly and durably — shapes his work at Wistaria Advisors, where he helps clients design retirement and estate plans that survive market cycles, tax regimes, and generations.
Scott holds two cum laude degrees from The Wharton School and the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, and SPIE, and is licensed under Series 7 and Series 63 (NASD), NMLS, and Florida insurance licenses for Life, Health & Variable Contracts and Life, Health & Annuity.
